25-3-2012 – Mnimoniolatry & Mnimonioclasts...

I chose this title being convinced that it showcases our 4 national, psychological & sociological characteristics of discord and division, bravery and sacrifice because I want to highlight the enduring importance of our social psychology.
   Our current political
ideology rupture has as its reference point the two notorious MEMORANDA papers and their exuberant acceptance by green and blue “Mnimoniolatres” (Memoranda “lovers”) and with national elections ahead of us the emerging block of "Mnimonioklasts”
(Memoranda “haters”), but they CANNOT convince us that the HOPE for salvation can become a reality by the deeds of those responsible for our fall in the modern economic Keadas!..
Those who profess that logic and those trying to convince us that such a reality constitutes "Realpolitik" must consider us hopeless idiots while simultaneously they characterize us as "hopelessly… romantic!"
The lesson of history was and remains clear: we, Greek men and women, every and each time we managed to put aside national discord and division we ended up thriving individually and collectively and showing unprecedented for the human race exemplary bravery and sacrifice.
Kneeling today reverently over the historical memories of the men and women and the events of 1821, be confident that we will find countless examples of bravery and sacrifice, as we will find indelible marks of division and discord acts as well as signs of harmony and inspiration coming not only from Greeks but from members of each ethnic group who participated as philhellenes and sacrificed their lives in our National struggle against the Ottoman Empire. And as we realize that these 4 characteristics, bravery & sacrifice, discord & division have always bee common features of us Greeks, let us forever remember that interwoven with the intrinsically symbolic flesh of the Nation were the leaders and the “anonymous” heroes of the Revolution of 1821.
Certainly we always can, in retrospect, after the events have occurred, put into question and query individual persons and their acts as well as events and phenomena. With the same certainty we can confidently say that this year, this March 25, 2012 there are clear, dramatic and tangible examples of division and discord within the Greek parliament and among the Governing political parties’ "... ensconced cronies!”
And there are still, unfortunately, in the context of the so called "Arab spring" risks from our Eastern frontiers alongside with “economic games” from our Western “allies” that brought us to the ascertained status of "credit event" that is to a “controlled financial bankruptcy!”
We Greeks should consider a blessing the reality that even today in the era of global unrestrained individualism, “skin-deep” interpersonal relationships and lack of vision and dedication to ideals there are still here in this historic land men, women and children, who continue in the tradition of Rhegas Pheraeos - Velestinlis to engage in "free thinking!"
Sociologically, psychologically and politically this is especially useful while our native “LEADERS”, old and young, and along with them their "ensconced-cronies" remain bound, sorry I meant to say "Euro-bound" as pathological “Mnimoniolatres” (Memoranda lovers)

It is also noteworthy, on a World level, while many people no longer bound to the promises of supposedly grandiose economic benefits promised by globalization which is now collapsing quickly throwing us in painfully symbolic "Keadas of our lenders' have been taught and accepted the avoidance of responsibilities of the realization of “free thinking” that leads to action! ...
Hurrah and Long live March 25, 1821 – Hurrah and Long live the Greek Nation!
